What is Lip Blushing?
Lip Blushing is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that enhances the natural shape of your lips, restoring lost pigmentation and giving the illusion of fullness without the use of fillers.
Using a specialized nano machine, we gently implant a custom-blended pigment into the lips. Whether you want to correct asymmetry, neutralize dark undertones, or simply add a sheer pop of color for that "just bitten" look, this treatment delivers stunning, long-lasting results.
Benefits:
- Defines lip contours and restores symmetry
- Provides a soft, natural, smudge-proof tint
- Can correct pale or uneven, dark tones (Color Correction)
- Stimulates collagen production for a plump effect
The Lip Blush Process
Consultation & Color Selection
We start by discussing your desired outcome. We carefully analyze your natural lip undertones and skin tone to custom-blend the perfect pigment that will heal beautifully.
Pre-Numbing & Shaping
A strong topical anesthetic is applied for 20 minutes to ensure your comfort. We then map out the ideal lip shape, making minor adjustments to improve symmetry.
Pigmentation
Using a delicate shading technique, we implant the pigment into the lips. The initial color will appear very bright and bold, but do not panic—this is part of the process.
Healing & The Reveal
Over the next 5-7 days, your lips will peel, and the color will soften by 30-50%, revealing a beautiful, natural, sheer tint.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get Lip Blush if I have lip fillers?
Yes, absolutely! Lip Blushing looks incredible over fillers. We just require you to wait at least 4 weeks after receiving injections before getting this treatment.
Does Lip Blushing hurt?
The lips are a sensitive area, but we use a highly effective secondary numbing gel throughout the procedure to keep you as comfortable as possible. Most clients feel very little pain, mostly just vibration.
What if I am prone to cold sores?
If you have ever had a cold sore, the procedure can trigger an outbreak. You must obtain a prescription for an antiviral medication (like Valtrex) from your doctor and start taking it 2 days prior to your appointment to prevent this.
